I got pretty excited when I logged on and saw you had made something else. Granted, it's not the stylistic humor and colorful montage of uniquely drawn images you normally come up with, B--U--T you even said you made it for a friend.
You were very clear in your description, that this was specifically made for a friend and his (or their) project. Oh, as for that sound crackling; I THINK I know what it might be, too. Maybe when you were piecing things together in Flash (except for the lens flares, I know, Ha!) the bass and/or treble levels were a bit too high. Try clippin' down a wee bit on your trim, if you have that option. That has happened to me COUNTless times when I'm trying to do something, myself.
Anyhoo, GUH-RATE job on an intro more than well done. It looks VERY professional. I'm curious though. Did your friend ever say what this was gonna be? A game or maybe even a short movie or something? Hmmm. . . Either way, I'm so very happy to see you're still out and about here on NG. I thought for sure I would have lost you due to my absence, the past few months.
Can't wait to start collaboratin'. Until then. . .

hello :P well the sound was given to me by my friend so when he gave it to me it was all done except i had to come in and just animate to the song. I wasnt going to post this but said what the hell. I will post other animations as soon as i finish them. My computer got the blue screen of death about a week ago and i lost alllllll of my work so i have to do all of my work over. but thanks and i knew this litle animation wouldnt get big. dont care though<==================== lol see ya gaia pal.

What a FABulous adaptation of this episode, Man. I think you did this MORE than justice in terms of bringing their voices and memories to life, via your artwork in flash.
The simplicity of your lines and colors was a stylistic touch all your own.
It didn't seem as though you were trying to copy anyone, nor were you diving into something that was too big for your britches. (Jeesh, great. Now I sound like I'm a 70 year old woman, huh?) *rolls my eyes*
You simply did what was present in YOUR mind, when you heard the program.

[The Faces Of Newgrounds]

This turned out aLOT cooler than I had imagined it would. You know, I kept tellin' myself that I too, was gonna scan my face and send it in to you to put in your project. But did I? No. Sadly, no I didn't. The daily monotonous grind, distracted me so, as it always does. Although I would have LOVED to have been a part of this thing.

The idea is FABuolous, by itself. Then, add in all those faces of Newgrounds, some smashed, some not, and you got yourself a winner, Sir! I was so excited to see some of the faces that make the flashes I watch and enjoy. Seeing as how the names weren't with the pictures, I watched it a few times. Each time, trying more carefully to catch a glimpse of certain people. *reaches out and pats you on the back for a job well done* The music was a perfect (even though it sent me back a few years, only to remember some hideous memories of my younger days, mind you) fit for this piece and the option to ACTUALLY freeze it, only made it better. The color scheme fit the song, as well. All 80's, all the time.

I don't think ANYone could have executed what you were going for, more perfectly, Man. Thanks for making me smile, getting a shitty 80's song stuck in my head for the rest of my day's entirety, and getting a chance to peek at a few faces, I might have wanted to see.

I'm impressed (as always) at your style and the very short amount of time it took for you to complete this. I had just hopped on for my daily voting, and low and behold, there was ANOTHER flash from you for me to watch.

You never let me down in color or style. I'm simply stunned at your work speed and your stories are usually off the wall! Heh heh heh Cute story, cute sound, FABulous artwork and amazing speed! leaning back, my eyes closed, listening to the rest of this amazing jazzcapades. I heard a bit of a Frank Sinatra song in there. I thought I picked up on a Christmas song or two. To be honest with you, Man, I heard a lot of songs in there. *rubs my eyes* It's late though and I'm sleepy. Or maybe it was just a jam out, montage, compilation or what have you. Either way, your flash was really beautiful. Slow, forming, changing, constant, fluid. Good stuff, Man, as always. I do get excited about cross training talents too. Just like the fella below me, so wonderfully stated. Hey Saint! *looks down below waves and smiles*

"C'Mon, let's go, J*** G****lum". . .

As I watched your main character, sitting there, @ the movie theatre, listening to ALL the sounds within, I realized this was such a unique piece. THAT LINE, did it for me, as lame as that may sound. Although it was well developed on such a eMOtional level, I was MOST impressed with the movie scene. And @ THAT point, when I heard him say, "C'Mon, let's go, J*** G***lum", a dumb grin crawled on my face. Now that I think back, I don't think it EVER left.
The cinematography was spec-freakin'-tacular, the backgrounds (or whatever technical name, they have for it, I'm sure, in Flash) were perfect. Oh, and I love that whole "out of focus" effect too.
Whatever. I apologize for rambling. I do that. *nods*

Hear, Hear, for a FABulous flash with a fresh feel, Sir.

Can't wait to see what all else you have. You know, it's wierd, I KNOW I've listened to a LOT of your stuff. I just never remember leaving reviews (except for maybe a va contest, perhaps?). Which is REALLY strange, because I find myself, typing those things a good deal - Maybe just not in comparison, with more old school, hardCORE Newgroundianz). Again, sorry about the rambling. . . point being, here's to hoping I can become more familiar with your work, Man.

I just wanted to say, that you, having the ability to make something as charming as this, with no cock 'n' ball jokes, potty mouth OR sex, is really commendable.
I mean, seriously, you could show this to any age group (unless you're a TOTAL tight arse about Life in general - you know, with the whole "nighty-night" scene, in the bed - ) and it would be appropriate. Very nice job, indeed.

I simply can't believe you did this amazing quality animation in the time you told me. I have watched others flash that it took them weeks to make and they were good. But this?!?!?! I mean, I just can't wrap my head around only having worked on this for a week or so. You Sir, are a flash genius. Now, you know me, so I will throw out one thing. I myself, would have LOVED to have taken part in the audio production of this, but, alas, where was I? Nowhere to be found. Ha!
There's a particluar style in your artwork that makes me smile. Your intros are always cute, your characters fun to watch, your music, not so shabby My Boy, and you work it all together very nicely. I can't wait to do something else with you, Andy. I truly hope you and I can do something together that brings not only you and I joy, but others as well. Hats off to you and your mad skills, you little voice actor, you! Yeah, that's right! I heard you! I love this kind of stuff and always find myself staring intently at the screen just waiting to see what the next visual will form into. I noticed the preloader was cute as well. It looked far different than a lot of others I have seen, Granted, I've been gone awhile but things couldn't have changed THAT much. Good Job on a morphing animation well done and I'll have to go back and check to watch the apparent others that have been made by you all. Best of Luck in 2K10, People.
