I'm not even gonna lie here. . .

I have not a clue when it comes to the correct terminolgy of musical composition but this song here is so cute! It sounds slightly off timed, which is cool when the melody kicks in. There's a certain instability to it yet a soft magical feel as well. I love EVERYTHING you do, Jessismith. I can't even put it into words WHAT exactly it is I like about this piece specifically. I just like it. There is a nostalgic feel. Almost like a positive Donnie Darko or something. No, that's not it. I don't know, to tell you the truth but I DO like it! Until your next song provokes something within me. . .

Yeah....it is a bit off timed, but I initially made this sort of as a background for a village scene in a game I was making at the time, so of course, I only put in half effort lol. Sweet. At first I was thinking, like soft, Danny Elfman type sound (and if you had ANY idea HOW in love I am with that Man I am, you would know JUST what a compliment that was on your behalf) then the drums owned the joint!
Dayum girl! That is some wicked azz sounding stuff you got going on there!
I hate to hear you have no more inspiration for it to work on, because it's MAGNIFICENT! (You ever worked with a user here named Wyldfyre1? If not, you should check out his stuff. He's famous for getting musicians out of their ruts. Just a thought! <3)I wish I could animate so I could work up something for it to go to.
Really, Jessismith, I can not believe what talent is contained within your body.

Nice! :D Don't worry....I'm a super big Danny Elfman fan as well....I have all of his soundtracks also, just because he has such a diverse talent ins music...so many movies in so many styles....yeah he's teh awesomeness. I've never heard of wyldfyre1. I'll have to check him out definitely. Alright. :) Aww....it's okay. I'll just keep waiting, and eventually I'll be discovered lol. xD Daww. *hugs* I'll try. Well what ARE they? They ALMOST kind of sound like gigantic wire cables being plucked. I mean, I don't know where you would have gotten THAT sound, but either way. I like it! If the drums would just stay around! *shakes my fist angrily in the air* Why did you have to foresake the drums Gawd?!?!?

For some reason, I still like the older version better. That sux your rendering process went all loopy. I would have LOVED to hear it with the "drums" ALL the way through. Anyhoo, I'm off to listen to every other thing you have posted up here. Thanks for being such a talented Woman. Until I get to hear you next. . . .

Hahaha, they're fireworks explosion sound effects. xD This was before I got any decent drum samples lol. Yeah.....I was just annoyed with the program and gave up. I will have to resubmit this with regular drums and hopefully my program won't be weird and render them all funny lol. Yeah, you're right....the older is better. Just too bad my old keyboard got struck by lightning and I could recreate it. xD Thanks G. Heh heh heh I gotta say, I know you said this was all random and thrown together but I LOVED it! I actually sat and listened to it SEVERAL times looped. It fits together pretty well for a loop too, if I might add.
Other than the volume and crackling (I've had a PC or 2 that couldn't handle me either, so I KNOW where you're comin' from) I got nothin' bad to say about it. There is something so charming about Stream Of Consciousness pieces. I love 'em, I love 'em, I love 'em! I'd like to hear some more stuff like this! Cool, cool beans, Girl! Lol, yeah, this was before I learned of volume and pressure sensitivity in this program lol...I was just hitting buttons. This is the second time I read your statement about being sorry for this and that. You, My Lady are a MAGNIFICENT musician. If someone doesn't care for your voice, they can just piss off. You have mad talent. I really like your harmonies. I shall have to send you an audio present "Sunny Days".
I loved how it turned from a classical piece with striking piano at the beginning and then turned into a soulful masterpiece, straight from the heart. You make me smile. Keep it up, please. Until you hear from, just another on of your crazed fans again. . .

Thanks Gaia. :) I must say your reviews never EVER cease to astonish me. :) You're awesome!! The comic was an anthropomorphic comic set in Asia before humans existed, about warrior animals saving a kingdom from an evil tyrant who has made an unexpected return. It's pretty old. I barely got anywhere with it. But yeah, this was one of the first tunes I ever composed on the piano besides the pain melody, and I do come from an extremely gifted musical family(me being the only ungifted one lol) Thanks again Gaia. *huggles*
